Course Overview

The H. pylori Master Class has been designed to teach practitioners how to successfully treat, manage and resolve H. pylori infections in patients. Dr. Amy Rolfsen of the Diagnostic Solutions Laboratory Medical Education Team will use research-backed data and case studies to teach the H. pylori Master Class.

This educational course consists of a series of short videos that cover the clinical manifestations of Hpylori, virulence factors and their implications, the current state of antibiotic therapy, natural and conventional therapeutic approaches, dietary recommendations, pediatric case management, case studies, and more!

Completing this course will enable you to use the GI-MAP™ test to understand when and how to treat* H. pylori infections in your patients. This course also includes two bonus handouts that offer crucial information about managing H. pylori.

*Treatment recommendations included in the H. Pylori Master Class are offered by the course instructor and are based on her experience using the GI-MAP in clinical practice.

About GI-MAP

The Gastrointestinal Microbial Assay Plus (GI-MAP) is an innovative clinical tool that measures gastrointestinal microbiota DNA from a single stool sample with state of the art, quantitative polymerase chain reaction (qPCR) technology. It is the leading functional stool test and helps practitioners practice personalized, root-cause medicine that optimizes patient outcomes.

Please note that the GI-MAP report has been updated to include visual cues not shown in this course; however, the educational content remains applicable for test interpretation. Additional markers, including Roseburia spp., Desulfovibrio spp., and Eosinophil Activated Protein (EPX/EDN), have also been added to the test since this course was created.
